UNH Cooperative Extension
We have a network of more than 160 professional Extension staff, some serving as specialists headquartered on the UNH campus, and others located in all 10 New Hampshire counties. Supplemented by the outreach of more than 4000 volunteers, Extension staff design and conduct educational programs that meet social, environmental and economic needs.

While we conduct many of our programs in face-to-face settings, we also use current communications technology, including the Web and interactive videoconferencing. As part of the national land-grant university system, we also access the knowledge and expertise of other state land-grant universities throughout the U.S. Cooperative Extension derives its name from the partnership which combines federal, state and county funding. This "cooperative" effort ensures that all people have local access to their state university and the knowledge and resources available. The principal partner is the University of New Hampshire. As a state land-grant university it is charged by Congress to conduct resident instruction, research, and outreach to people beyond the classroom.

Please use this website to become more familiar with UNH Cooperative Extension. I encourage you to contact any member of the staff if you have questions or needs we can address.
